The Loft is, as it name suggests, situated on the first floor of the building. It is light and airy and can seat up to 50 people. It is a perfect choice for meetings, courses or seminars. Key points are:
- 6.7m x 7.6m (23’x 26′) floor area, plus ‘dog-leg’
- Television/monitor
- Whiteboard
- Hire includes use of kitchenette
- Stair lift provides increased access
- The Loft incorporates a computer suite which benefits from high-speed Broadband and free wi-fi
The Loft is used regularly throughout the week by many different groups including:
- Hempnall Computer Club
- Hempnall Computer Classes
- Pilates
- Yoga

The Loft also houses an IT suite comprising 9 networked computers with internet access. The provision of this facility has only been possible due to the provision of grants generously given by the following organisations:

- Millennium Commission’s Awards for All
- Radio Broadland ‘Operation Santa’
- Norfolk Rural Community Council
The computers at the Village Hall are loaded with the following software:
- Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
- Adobe Photoshop Elements
The Loft is an ideal space for meetings being light, airy and contained. Hire includes the use of a kitchen and free wi-fi. The Loft also has a flat screen tv which can be used for presentation purposes and 9 networked computers.
